Fine Arts Taught

The pictures show a Boise Valley Adventist student working on her painting. Students in grades 6-8 at Boise Valley Adventist School develop their painting skills, utilizing a variety of techniques. One technique involves painting with knives; brushes are not used with this technique.  Once completed, the artwork embodies a three-dimensional illusion. In addition to developing their artistic talents, students also practiced problem-solving and critical thinking.
